The Ministry of Education, Republic of China, funds a scholarship to grant support and recognition to outstanding foreign students studying for up to one year in university-affiliated Chinese Language Centers in Taiwan.  This scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, insurance, and other school fees.  Students must remain in good academic standing and have good attendance for the duration of the scholarship as it is awarded on a monthly basis. 

To qualify students must:

• Have a good academic record and moral character
• Not be receiving a scholarship from any other Taiwanese institutions or ROC agencies.

Applications are due with the Study Abroad Application on April 15.  A complete application consists of"

• Ministry of Education Language Scholarship Application Form (can be obtained from the Study Abroad Office)
• Academic Transcript
• Copy of Study Abroad Application Form
• Two Letters of Recommendation
