Kristie Gillooly

I can honestly say that coming to Suffolk Madrid as a freshman was the best decision I have ever made.  This experience has changed me in so many ways for the better; I am more independent, more willing to take risks, and have learned how to think more critically about what is going on around me. 

The classes at Suffolk are small and personal, allowing me to ask questions and have real relationships with all of my professors.  The subject matter in all of my classes tie in together in some way, allowing me to put my knowledge to practical use, no matter what classroom I am in.

The Madrid staff do their very best to make every transition as smooth as possible.  Never has there been a moment when I have felt I had no one to go to.  Just when you start to feel a little homesick or stressed, there is a fun, cultural event to go to that makes you forget about everything, except for the fact that you are living in a beautiful country surrounded by people who care.
