’This course examines the rise of information-enabled enterprises and the role of information technologies/information systems (IT/IS) and e-commerce as key enablers of businesses and social changes globally. The effective application of IT/IS to support strategic planning, managerial control, operations and business process integration in the digital economy is covered. The course also examines the IT/IS related issues of ethics, privacy, piracy and security in the information society. Prerequisites: ENG 102 and ISOM 120. ’
