’This course introduces students to the applied standard social science research method and descriptive and inferential statistics typically used by public and non-profit managers to design quantitative research projects, sample, collect, and analyze data. The course also introduces the use of SPSS computer software to compile and test social science data. Prerequisites: MATH 134 or STATS 240 or STATS 250 or equivalent.’
