'An examination of the situation and contributions of the Czech, Moravian, and Slovak peoples and their neighbors, the Austrians, the Hungarians, the Germans, and the Poles from early medieval times until the present. Included will be the Great Moravian Empire, the Czech Kingdom, the Holy Roman Empire, the first Czechoslovak Republic, the Soviet Empire, the Velvet Revolution of 1989, and the velvet divorce of the Czech and Slovak Republics. Offered yearly in Prague as part of the Suffolk Semester in Prague Program.'
