• Boston Bar Association Taps Five Law School Alumni

Five Suffolk Law School alumni are among the 15 lawyers named to the Boston Bar Association 2009-1010 Public Interest Leadership Program.

The 12-month leadership development program identifies and develops attorneys to serve as civic, bar, and professional leaders of the future.

Law School alumni chosen this year are:

  • Lindy L. Aldrich, a staff attorney at the Victim Rights Law Center, represents victims of sexual assault and coordinates the center's pro bono panel, the Rape Survivors Law Project. Aldrich graduated from the Law School in 2006.
  • Raymond C. Estes, an associate attorney at Rubin and Rudman LLP, has worked with the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and Citizen Schools.  He is a member of the board of trustees and corporate clerk at the Puppet Showplace Theatre. Estes graduated from the Law School in 2004. 
  • Anne Giovanoni, a corporate attorney at Alkermes, Inc.,  is deeply involved with Community Servings, which provides free home-delivered and medically tailored meals to people in eastern Massachusetts.  She graduated from the Law School in 2005. 
  • Georgia J. Maheras, private market policy manager at Health Care For All, is an active member of the Health Law Advocates’ pro bono legal network.  She graduated from the Law School in 2006.
  • Sarah W. Walsh, an Associate at LibbyHoopes, P.C., has been involved with the Shelter Legal Services Foundation as a direct services volunteer.  She previously served as a legislative aide to Rep. James M. Murphy.  Walsh graduated from the Law School in 2005.
