It was a quiet week for our favorite Survivor: China contestant, Courtney Yates '03, as the two rival tribes swapped two members each, participated in the usual challenges, and ultimately voted someone off the island - all apparently without any involvement by Courtney.
One of her strongest Fei Long teammates, Aaron Reisberger, is tossed after he temporarily becomes a member of the Zhan Lu tribe, thus reducing the chances of Fei Long dominating the contest when the tribes eventually merge as the reality TV show heads towards its conclusion in December.
While all of this was going down, Courtney managed to stay off to the side. In fact, nowhere in the five-page official recap on cbs.com does Courtney's name even appear, which was a good thing since some of her tribal mates in previous weeks had begun to zero in on her because of her trouble with the physical part of the challenges.
In the end, it means you should tune in to CBS on Thursday, October 25, at 8 p.m. to see if the Melrose native can outlast the trials and tribulations and stay alive to win the $1 million prize that will await the person who will be the last survivor standing.
