The Housing Search
The Housing Search is an intensive apartment and roommate hunt in Boston. Over the course of one and a half days, you can meet with reputable realtors, view apartments, and meet roommates if you need them!
We recommend you dress casually; be prepared to walk around the city.

Jamie Langowski, Housing Clinic Fellow, Housing Discrimination Testing Program, will also be presenting on your rights as a renter:
Know Your Rights: Fair Housing is for Everyone
Don’t expect others to know or respect your rights as a renter. The Suffolk University Law School Housing Discrimination Testing Program will present a summary of fair housing laws and share relevant and helpful information that everyone should know when looking for a place to live.
At this social you can meet and speak with other students to find a roommate or two. A light dinner will be served. Your guests are welcome to attend this event, but be sure you make an effort to talk to and share information with potential roommates. If you are not seeking a roommate, we recommend that you join us at tomorrow’s event instead.

9:30am Housing Search Fair

At this event, realtors will be available to meet with you and show you available apartments. These realtors will be on-site until all appointments are scheduled (approximately until 12:00pm); then they will be at their respective offices. OCHO staff will be available until 1pm on the 6th floor to guide you through the process, answer questions, and provide you with information as needed.
Saturday, June 7
9am - 1pm OCHO Open House
Still looking for that perfect apartment on Day 3? Come to the OCHO office and utilize our resource room as a "home-base" as you search online listings, talk to realtors on the phone, and have any of your questions answered by our knowledgeable staff.
