There are no dormitories on the UIA Campus. Instead, UIA has a network of Mexican families who have experience in hosting students in their private homes. Many study abroad programs and universities alike have generally accepted placing students in private Mexican residences as a rewarding bicultural and social experience. In supervised housing service, students are placed two to a room with bathroom facilities. Single rooms may be requested in advance for an extra fee.
