The Office of International Student Programming offers many events and activities for international students throughout the academic year. Whether a student is feeling homesick, is interested in learning about other cultures, likes to cheer for Suffolk’s sports teams, wants to meet other students from around the world, or has an idea for a new program, our office has something for him or her.
Programs include:
- International Student Orientation, which welcomes new students and helps them become acclimated to Suffolk University and the city of Boston.
- Each semester, "Making Connections at Suffolk...Your Home Away From Home" programs give new students the opportunity to meet people and discuss ways to cope with homesickness.
- Consular Corps receptions introduce students to the local consuls representing their countries in Boston.
- International Movie Nights screen contemporary and classic films for students and others from the University community.
