Suggestions for Embroidery of the Centennial Seal

A version of the seal has been created to accommodate the special needs for embroidery. The general guidelines for usage should still be adhered to and following are specific suggestions relating to embroidery:

• Thread colors: blue (close match to PMS 281), yellow (close match to PMS 121), black, or white
• Try to have as much contrast as possible between clothing color and seal color.
• For dark color clothing (such as navy blue or black), use white or the yellow thread.
• For light colored clothing, use the blue or black thread.
• Recommended typefaces to use with the seal are the Garamond or Futura families.
