in an internship this summer, the Suffolk University Madrid Campus could be the
perfect place! This summer we are offering many exciting courses at the
Madrid Campus including: Professional Communication, Human Sexuality, Consumer
Behavior, Contract Design I and II, Spanish Art and Architecture,
Flamenco in Madrid, Applied Statistics, Astronomy, as well as additional
Spanish language courses. Additionally, students who have a higher level
of Spanish language skills have the opportunity to participate in a full time
internship in the city of Madrid at a placement fit to their interests and

Italy: Image Making (ART S216)
In this unique Elective course students will focus on techniques in painting, photography and digital image manipulation. Hosted by SACI in Florence during Suffolk University Summer Session 2014, students will have use of a painting studio, computer labs, printmaking facilities, as well as housing in apartments in Florence.
Learn how to create images while visiting world class collections and remote picturesque villages in Italy. Models will be provided, as well as landscape plein-air painting sessions, trips to neighboring cities where photography assignments will take place. Experiment with photo transfer and cross over techniques between digital and hand manipulated images.
Using the extraordinary architecture, art and landscape of Italy as visual context, students will explore aspects of Western Art, then and now. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the languages of realism and abstraction by working both from observation and the imagination. All levels welcome. Classes include demonstrations, lectures and group critiques.
Site visits to Fiesole, Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca, Sansepolcro, Monterchi and Arezzo.

The International Center for Development Studies offers two exciting tracks this summer in San Jose: 1. Spanish for Development Studies and 2. Spanish and Health in Latin America.

2. ESG Management School in Paris offers an International Summer Academy which runs for two weeks in July.
The University of Roehampton offers an exciting summer program that runs between 3- and 6 weeks. This summer program is comprised of 2 sessions and students may choose to participate in either session or both.
American College Thessaloniki offers some wonderful courses this summer in English in the following disciplines: Business, Humanities, Social Sciences and Theology.
The International Summer School in Irish Studies of University College Cork introduces students from across the world to the history, literature, and culture of the Irish through the ages.
We have many summer program opportunities available through our partner institutions in Italy located in Rome and Florence.
Sophia University in Tokyo offers two great programs this summer: 1. Summer Session in Asian Studies and 2. Japanese Language Intensive Course
Please note: the Summer Session in Asian Studies has a 2.75 GPA requirement.
