What is Veterans Upward Bound?
Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) is a FREE college prep TRIO funded program. This program provides college preparation courses, training, and materials to qualified veterans.

Step 1: Contact our office at 617-725-4102 to make an appointment with one of our staff members. Please bring along a copy of your DD-214 and get ready for the next step!
Is the VUB program at Suffolk University just for potential Suffolk University students?
Definitely not! We will help any qualified veteran who wishes to attend any college or university. We will assist you in your search for the best program and school to fit your individual needs and goals.
Does it cost anything to attend VUB classes?
All VUB classes, books, and supplies are FREE to qualified veterans. We will provide all of the supplies and equipment for veterans actively enrolled in our program.
Can VUB help me find a job?
No. However, we can refer you to career centers in the area that can assist with resume writing, career counseling, and potential help with placement.
Can VUB help me to choose a career?
Yes. Our advisors can provide information about career fields and how that relates to academic majors to help determine what field might be appropriate for you.
My spouse is a veteran and I'm using their educational benefits, am I eligible?
No. Unfortunately even though you might qualify to use veterans educational benefits, we cannot provide services to you at this time.
