1. PAY DEPOSIT

Admitted JD students must submit a non-refundable tuition deposit to reserve a place in the entering class. The non-refundable deposit is credited to the tuition bill at the time of registration.

2. SUBMIT BANK STATEMENT

JD students must a bank statement certifying $69,113 USD to the Center for International Programs and Services. JD students with a dependent must certify an additional $10,000 USD and $5,000 USD for each additional dependent. Please mail a complete Certificate of Finances and a Bank Statement to the Center for International Programs and Services.

3. OBTAIN AN IMMIGRATION DOCUMENT

Suffolk University will issue your immigration document (I-20) approximately 2-3 weeks after receiving your Bank Statement and tuition deposit. The I-20 will be sent to you via courier service to the address listed on your application.  

4. APPLY FOR THE F-1 STUDENT VISA

After you receive your I-20, you will be ready to apply for the F-1 Student Visa. F-1 Visa Application Instructions
