Hi everyone, my name is Nick and I’m from Methuen, MA. As a Junior here at Suffolk I am studying Public Relations and Criminology and Law, which is setting me up to go to Law School. Suffolk wasn’t my first choice, but as I learned about the great class sizes and the leadership opportunities, Suffolk jumped to the front of my list.
Being in Boston was my dream. What drew me to the city was the entertainment, night life and the history that was immersed into the atmosphere of the Suffolk campus. In the city of Champions, you have the Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots, and the Celtics keeping the city involved with events and of course the shock and awe of the playoffs. Boston has some of the most amazing museums, theaters and venues that give the city and the Suffolk community something to be a part of. With the T seconds away, I’m allowed access to the North End, Cambridge, South End, and historic Salem, Ma
With the amazing reputation that Boston has for education, I found myself interacting with students from other universities and colleges due to the location of Suffolk. I have had some of the most amazing professors that I have been able to network with and use as references for intern and job opportunities. The professors here at Suffolk aren’t just your average Joe from off the street. Suffolk professors know what their teaching because they are doctors, CEOS, CFOS, directors, actors etc in the fields that they are instructing.
Here at Suffolk I have been able to interact with the students and the community through the ambassador program. Besides being an ambassador, I am the Vice President of the Student Body, the Chair of the Student Judicial Review Board, and a former Alternative Spring Break Leader. Suffolk has opened the door to so many opportunities and I can’t believe that its already half way over.
