Email Forwarding
Email forwarding forwards email messages to you, at any location, as long as you keep us updated with your new email address. It is available and free to all Suffolk alumni.
You can select a permanent Suffolk alumni email address (such as a.b.smith@alumni.suffolk.edu). This will be the address you can give classmates, friends and relatives. When you change Internet service providers or jobs and get a new email address, you only have to let us know.
Email forwarding requires that you have your own email account with an ISP through your work, or a free account. (Some providers of free email accounts are Gmail,Yahoo and Hotmail). Email Forwarding sends email to -- but does not supply -- your own email account.
First time users: Register for the On-line Alumni Community and follow the instructions for registered users below.
Registered users: Sign into the Online Community. Once you are logged in choose the "Email Forwarding" tab on the left column under the Online Community. First create the email name you wish to use in front of @alumni.suffolk.edu. Next choose the forwarding address you wish your emails to be sent to (ie Gmail, Yahoo, AOL etc.) It is recommended you test your email forward to be sure it is being sent to your preferred email account. (Please note you may be required to add the email forward address through your service provider for it to be activated). Lastly, click "Submit" at the bottom of the page.
Students and New Graduates: For seniors and new graduates, email forwarding does not replace your student Suffolk email address, which usually closes after graduation. After the termination date, emails sent to your student account will bounce back to the sender. An alumni email forwarding address does not fix this.
If you have any questions please contact Emma O'Leary at eoleary@suffolk.edu
