Confronting Crisis: The Practice of Immigration Law in the Age of  President Trump - Presentation and Reception with Clinical Professor of Law Ragini Shah

Since the first days of the new administration, immigration policy has been a focus of attention. Changes to admissions policies, enforcement priorities and deferred action have made daily headlines and caused widespread panic in immigrant communities. Professor Shah will discuss those changes in historical context and the ways in which they have changed the work of immigration lawyers including the student attorneys in the Immigration Clinic. She will also discuss how these changes have impacted people and institutions and what these impacts mean about the significance of the immigrant population to our national economy.

The only 5K run that takes place in the Boston Common! Join Students, Alumni, Family, Faculty/Staff, and Suffolk Friends as we race (or walk) through the Boston Common!
Prizes will be awarded to:
- 1st female & 1st male finishers
- 2nd overall finisher
- 3rd overall finisher
Registration finalization and race bib pickup will begin at 8:30-9:15 a.m. on race day. Make sure you arrive before 9:15 a.m. to avoid any delay, the race will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.

Enjoy a highly informative and interactive tour of some of Boston's least known history with our resident expert, Professor Bob Allison from the Suffolk University History Department. Dr. Allison has written five books about Boston history and is known as a national expert on the topic of Boston and revolutionary American history. Space on this tour is limited.
