Alex Hernandez, a freshman from Newton, Mass., was named as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women’s Tennis Rookie of the Week after helping the Rams capture their first-ever league regular season crown with four victories, including triumphs over three-time defending GNAC champion Simmons.
