Jen Nelson

Jen Nelson, a senior from Newburyport, Mass., was named as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the Week after leading the Rams to their first-ever league tournament championship with a pair of come-from-behind wins in both singles and doubles play in a 5-4 triumph over three-time defending conference champion Simmons.  Nelson, a two-time pick as GNAC Player of the Year, overcame a pair of three-point deficits in both matches against the Sharks, including a 5-2 deficit in the deciding point in doubles action.
