Steve Healey

Steve Healey, a freshman pitcher from Norwood, Mass., was named on Monday as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Baseball Rookie of the Week for his efforts in a pair of Ram victories last weekend.  Healey collected his first collegiate triumph and save in a pair of appearances, including 1 2/3 scoreless innings of relief with key pickoff in a 15-11 eight-inning win over Saint Joseph’s (Maine).  Healey struck out six over 2 1/3 innings of relief for his first save in a 6-3 victory over Norwich and struck out seven of the 11 batters he faced on the weekend.
