Steve Durant

Steve Durant, a senior from Malden, Mass., was named as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week for his efforts in a pair of Ram victories last week.  Durant posted a 2-0 mark and allowed an unearned run in 12 innings of work, as he tossed a no-hitter with a career-high 14 strikeouts in a 3-0 triumph over Rivier that was preceded by a complete-game two-hitter with 10 strikeouts in a 15-1 victory over Emerson.  Steve averaged two strikeouts per inning on the week and held opponents to an .053 batting average along the way.
