Tim Corcoran, a sophomore first baseman from Beverly, Mass., was named as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week for his efforts in seven Ram victories last week. Corcoran batted .500 (10-20) with a pair of doubles, three homers, four stolen bases and 15 RBI on the week, including a pair of round-trippers and six RBI in a 16-0, 16-2 sweep at Daniel Webster. Corcoran added three hits and five RBI in a twinbill sweep of Emerson as well as three RBI in a 17-7 victory at Fitchburg State, and he knocked in the deciding run in a 2-1 triumph over Rivier. Tim posted a 1.050 slugging percentage and a .478 on-base percentage on the week and handled all 47 chances in the field without an error.
