Available in collaboration with the Berklee College of Music in Boston. As a music management major at Berklee, you decided to pursue the business side of music – the MBA is the next step to insure you will excel in the field.

How is the Suffolk MBA accelerated for Berklee College of Music graduates?

Complete your MBA in 14 courses.The traditional Suffolk MBA 18 course program may be shortened by four courses if you took appropriate Berklee music management courses.

How long will it take you to complete the Accelerated MBA for Berklee College of Music graduates?

12 to 16 months full-time – depending on course waivers
 22 to 28 months part-time – depending on course waivers
Alternatively, take up to five years to complete the degree

Who will be in your courses?

You’ll be joining other Suffolk MBAs, part-time and full-time, from across the globe, with varied educational and employment experience. Your classmates will likely be financial analysts, HR specialists, CIOs, CFOs, physicians, marketing managers and a myriad of other working professionals. The Suffolk MBA classroom is a learning environment, and a networking opportunity to enhance your professional credentials.

The Accelerated MBA for Berklee Graduates Program Study

10 to 14 courses (31 to 43 credits)
All Suffolk MBAs must earn a minimum of 31 credits.

Required Introductory Course – 1 credit
MBA 600 Effective Career Planning

Core Courses – 24 credits – may be waived 
*18 of these 24 credits may be waived with the specific Berklee courses as indicated below

Required Capstone Courses – 6 credits
MBA 780 Managing in the Global Environment
MBA 800 Strategic Management

Electives – 24 credits
Select 8 courses from among electives in accounting, business law and ethics, entrepreneurship, finance and managerial economics, health administration, information systems, international business, marketing, organizational behavior, public administration and nonprofit management, strategic management, and taxation.

In some instances, students may be required to substitute an equivalent credit course for a waived course to achieve the 31 credit minimum for all Suffolk MBA degrees.
