Entrepreneurial Options for Undergraduates
The Sawyer Business School offers a variety of options for undergraduate students wanting to know more about entrepreneurship. Students can enroll in the undergraduae degree in business administration with a major in entrepreneurship or they can choose to minor in entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurship Required Courses

- Introduction to Entrepreneurship
- Legal and Financial Planning for Start-ups, Growing, and Family Businesses
- Skill Seminars for Entrepreneurs
- Starting the New Venture
- Experiential Project Experience
Entrepreneurship Electives Courses
2 courses/ 6 credits
Electives enable students to expand their knowledge in a specialized area of entrepreneurship. Students choose two electives from the following list:
- Taxation
- Global Issues in Theory and Practice
- Human Resource Management
- Leading the Entrepreneurial Firm
- Career Management
- International Management
- Marketing for Entrepreneurs
- Family Business
Free Electives
Up to 30 credits
Free Electives allow students to complete a minor in the Sawyer Business School or College of Arts and Sciences.
