The Sawyer Business School houses over 375 networked Windows based computers distributed throughout the Sawyer Building and the Business School offices at the Stahl Building. The systems are standardized on Windows 2000 and Office 2003 in an active directory Windows 2003 based network.
The Business School has 23 multimedia classrooms with presentation and internet capabilities and two computer classrooms with student desktop computers for teaching applications, database management, networking and web design.
Our Blackboard e-learning web platform allows online delivery of teaching materials in most courses of the business school including those offered by our fully online MBA program.
A staffed walk-in computer lab located on the fifth floor of the Sawyer Building provides 70 networked computer stations, free laser printing, scanning capabilities, and access to discipline specific software assigned by professors. Computer access is also available in the Sawyer Business School graduate lounge, located on the fourth floor of the Sawyer building.
OTM hosts a Bloomberg terminal and manages a variety of databases for student and faculty use including SAS, Compustat and Global Vantage for research and teaching exercises. In cooperation with the Sawyer Library, additional online resources are provided via the web.
