• Business School Hosts Entrepreneurial Venture Forum

World-class investment professionals are looking to invest in great emerging venture ideas. Do you have a good idea?

The Sawyer Business School’s Center for Entrepreneurial Studies will host the 5th S.E.E.D. (Spirit of Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development) 2007 National Collegiate Entrepreneurship Boston Venture Forum on Friday, June 1 and Saturday, June 2.

The SEED National Collegiate Forum boasts one of the best and most experienced panels of screeners and judges in the country. It attracts dozens of qualified investors (angel investors, hedge fund managers, private equity managers, venture capital fund managers, and investment bankers) and it college students secure capital funding for their new ventures.

The entrepreneurial environment provided during the Forum assists collegiate entrepreneurs with all aspects of venture feasibility, long-term viability, and potential funding opportunities. It rewards ventures with specific input on raising capital and taking the business concept to sustainable revenue in the target market, and also provides a great line-up of direct access and personal introductions to potential strategic partnership referrals.

The SEED Forum was founded by Suffolk alum, David Newton, MBA ‘82. David is also the founder of TechKnowledge Point Corporation and EntrePoint.com in Santa Barbara, California.
