Decisions for admission to the MPA program are not based on a single factor, rather the applicant’s overall profile is considered. Included in the criteria are:

  • Prior academic performance.
  • Related work, professional or volunteer experience.
  • Personal statement.
  • Recommendations (professional and/or academic).
  • Standardized test scores are helpful in the admission decision; however, they are not required for all applicants.
Standardized test scores (GMAT or GRE), taken within the previous five years, are required of applicants with less than three (3) years relevant work, professional or volunteer experience or less than 2.75 cumulative grade point average (GPA) in their undergraduate degree.
  • Personal interview, if requested.
