In 1996, Suffolk University began offering its nationally accredited Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree on the campus of Cape Cod Community College. After more than a decade, the Suffolk MPA on Cape Cod continues to challenge, inform, and advance the careers of today’s leaders in all levels of government, nonprofits, and public service.
Courses for the Suffolk MPA on Cape Cod are held at the main campus of Cape Cod Community College located in West Barnstable, Massachusetts. The 116 acre wooded campus is conveniently located off of Route 6 on Cape Cod. Suffolk University Cape Cod students are granted full privileges at the Cape Cod Community College campus including access to the library, fitness center, and other amenities. Cape Cod students are welcome to take advantage of courses (including MPA global travel seminars) and other offerings at Suffolk’s main campus in Boston.
Accelerated, flexible scheduling and intensive summer sessions give you more options to complete your degree. All Cape courses are offered on weekday evenings or on Saturdays. Full and part-time programs are offered; however, full-time students may need to take some courses in Boston. Four terms a year (Fall, Spring, Summer I, and Summer II) give you additional flexibility.
Suffolk University Cape Cod has an extensive alumni network on the Cape and Islands. Suffolk MPA graduates hold leadership positions in state government, local government, and in healthcare and nonprofit organizations on Cape Cod. Events held on Cape Cod (such as the Suffolk University Cape Cod Breakfast Seminar Series) provide opportunities for current students to network with Suffolk Alumni.
