George M. Davison, III

Thank you to Mr. George M. Davison for his remarks at the 2007 New Product Innovation Awards Ceremony.

George M. Davison, III is the President/CEO of Davison. With his goal to help make inventions a reality, Davison is well on his way to achieving this goal.

Mr. Davison was born in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh, in 1963. Davison was raised by his parents, Moira and George Davison, II, with his brother Gordon. Gordon is also involved by serving as the COO of Davison International. Davison comes from a family of entrepreneurs.

Wanting to maintain his entrepreneurial roots, Mr. Davison attended Allegheny College and graduated in 1986 with a degree in Economics. Mr. Davison worked in the business world for a few years, but could not quench his desire to continue inventing new products. Like most inventors, Davison has felt the pain of someone beating him to market with an idea. Starting with his initial idea for a germ free toothbrush, Davison decided there must be an easier way to design, develop and present ideas to corporations. Being an inventor himself, Mr. Davison knows the obstacles an inventor faces. These obstacles are what prompted him to come up with a way for inventors to get their ideas designed and presented to corporations for licensing. Through this process, Davison came up with his greatest invention – Inventegration ®.

Inventegration ® is the unique process that drives his company. Inventegration® is defined as: 1: The process of getting an idea in front of a corporation for licensing. 2: A process of combining consumer needs and industrial needs to create a new or improved product in the state of being complete or undivided and having a firm commitment to a code of moral or artistic values. 3: A process that considers industry structures for production, material selection and pricing when a product is being designed.

In addition to his love of inventing, Davison is also a family man and active in community organizations. His wife, Barbara, and his three children, George, Morgan, and Vivian encourage his inventiveness as he does in them.  Davison’s continued love of inventing allows him to include his family, his community and his employees in the continued success of bringing inventions and ideas to life.
