LiveClassroom is a web-based distance learning tool, that streams video and audio content to your web browser. In LiveClassroom, you can draw on a virtual whiteboard, use real-time messaging, and use 1-way or 2-way audio and 1-way video.
In addition, you can show any application in real time and even allow students to work on the application through LiveClassroom, poll students in real-time, track attendance, and present a wide array of content (web pages, PowerPoint presentations, PDF files, etc.).
All presentations can also be archived for later viewing.
LiveClassroom is integrated into Suffolk University’s Blackboard course management system. You must log in to Blackboard to use it.
Some custom plug-ins and software are required (but easily installed through a "wizard"), and LiveClassroom is "Section 508 Accessible" (US Federal Government, accessible to people with disabilities).
