The Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University has launched its 18-month, Saturday only Executive MPA program offering mid- to senior-level public service leaders a thought-provoking, highly selective peer-group educational experience.
The Executive MPA prepares public policy leaders and managers for roles in top-tier government and public policy development, community based programs, advocacy and social change. Building a career-long professional network begins with fellow Suffolk students. Suffolk Alumni become colleagues, mentors, guest speakers and a support system for our current students through Suffolk’s Alumni Association.
Suffolk faculty have strong academic and research credentials and extensive public service experience. They apply theory to practice and give students the hands-on experience needed to build strong leadership skills for immediate application.
As a member of the Executive MPA network you will gain immediate access to a diverse and influential cohort network. Through the Executive Program Alumni Council, as well as the program’s contacts in public service communities, Suffolk Executive MPA students are able to tap into an extensive network to advance both personally and professionally.
The Executive MPA features a cohort structure that promotes the personal development of each student within a collaborative group environment.
Given the variety of backgrounds and distinct experiences of our participants, this structure fosters an innovative learning environment.
We are committed to the value of life-long learning. As a graduate of one of the Executive MPA, you may audit any Executive course without tuition. We will be happy to welcome you back to Suffolk to update and refresh your public policy skills, inform you of current management trends and reconnect you with faculty and friends.
Suffolk’s Executive MPA features required residential seminars designed to promote an educational experience focused on integrated thinking and global leadership. Each seminar builds upon previous classroom work and sets the stage for the next cluster of courses.
