Entrepreneurship faculty advisors will meet with their individual advisees to plan next semester’s schedule. We strongly recommend that our undergraduate advisees schedule an appointment with their advisors as soon as possible to allow ample time for your advisor to review your scheduling needs, as well as approve your registrations. Undergraduate students cannot register without entrepreneurship faculty approval. Your advisor is listed on your Program Evaluation that is available on MySuffolk: Log onto the portal and select the ’Classes & Registration’ tab. Next, click on the ’My Grades & Academic Profile’ sub-tab. Your Program Evaluation is accessible from the menu. To make your advising schedule more efficient and to minimize delays in approving your registration, please print out your Program Evaluation and bring it with you during your advising appointment.
We strongly recommend that you begin your entrepreneurship major no later than your second semester of your sophomore year (you must begin no later than your first semester of your junior year – second semester of your junior year for minors). When selecting your two major electives, please be careful to choose electives that will compliment your entrepreneurship major. Your advisor will help guide you through this process.
Also, keep in mind that your advisor’s role is not limited to only helping you with your schedule. We also want to gain a better understanding of your entrepreneurial experience at the Sawyer Business School, as well as your future goals. This collaboration will assist us in continuous improvement of your Suffolk experience, not just when you’re a student, but also after you graduate from Suffolk University. Your advisor is also there to help you with other issues that may arise.
We will provide you with the advising schedule when available.
Individual faculty advising schedules are available upon request. Please contact us to schedule your appointment. Appointments typically last approximately 15 minutes. Waiting too long may result in delays in your registration.
