CourseCast is a tool for creating, editing, and delivering rich multimedia capture of presentations, courses, or meetings.

Armed with a laptop or desktop computer, it is a simple, yet complete solution that allows users to quickly capture material from their office, home, classroom or elsewhere and make it available on the web, or via Blackboard.

CourseCast has the ability to automatically recognize recording devices connected to your computer, and can capture any combination of audio, video, PowerPoint slides or computer screen.

For advanced environments, it can also be used in classrooms or lecture halls that have built-in cameras.

After you finish recording, upload your material, give the “servers” a moment (or more!) to process them, and the next thing you’ll see is a link to your presentation. It’s that simple. No waiting or worrying about last minute deadlines or contacting people in IT departments.

For those without an internet connection, CourseCast offers offline recording capability. Record first, and then upload when you have a connection available.

In addition to viewing presentations on any computer (Windows or Mac), viewers can download a podcast of your recording with no additional work required at your end. CourseCast automatically makes your audio and video available in MP3 and MP4 formats. Users can download this content to their mobile devices and view it on the go.
