Marketing Internship at Mavi Jeans - world headquarters in Istanbul, Turkey
A citizen of Liberia and a permanent resident of the U.S., Nuwoe Goteh came to the Global MBA as a working professional in the financial services industry in Boston, looking to make a major career change. He enrolled in the international marketing concentration as a part-time student. As a busy professional he enjoyed the convenient evening class times and the option to take some classes online.
Unlike many part-time Global MBAs, Nu decided to complete all course work for his Global MBA, leaving only the final 6 credits for Summer 2010. “As a part-time student, I could do a project in my place of business, or a global research project for a company here in Boston, but I really wanted the experience of working abroad. I have to admit, leaving my job in finance is a little like jumping off a cliff! Making the switch from finance to marketing is definitely challenging.” Nu will do a full-time summer internship in Istanbul, Turkey with Mavi Jeans.
