The Sawyer Business School offers a variety of opportunities for undergraduate students to explore the world through global seminar courses and study abroad and away activities.
Suffolk University Madrid offers academic, social and cultural opportunities for students seeking a study abroad experience in Europe. Students can take classes either in English or Spanish and ultimately, they leave with a profound appreciation of the culture, language and foreign systems that contribute positively to the global foundation to our BSBA. While there, students who demonstrate Spanish proficiency will take at least one class taught in Spanish. Everyone else will take an introductory Spanish language course to aid their transition to and appreciation of Madrid. Contact the Study Abroad office for more information.
Suffolk University students can immerse themselves in one of the most developed and democratic nations in the West African region. Whether in French, Wolof or English, Suffolk students can take classes and partake in service opportunities and internships. Students return with excitement and enthusiasm about their community, both locally and globally. Contact the Study Abroad office for more information.
Study Abroad experiences add to your overall BSBA experience. The Sawyer Business School offers undergraduate students the opportunity to experience global business firsthand through its Global Travel Seminar Program. Global Seminars provide a great opportunity for you to immerse yourself in a culture that is different from your own.
Each Global Travel Seminar begins at Suffolk University in Boston with several class sessions prior to the scheduled trip abroad. Students then travel as a group to the destination where they partake in lectures on doing business in the host country, site visits to local businesses and cultural excursions.
