The globalization of business coupled with the growth of the Internet and the rise of information economies have created a great demand for information system professionals who posses skills in both business applications and information technologies.
Suffolk’s ISOM department offers an undergraduate degree (BSBA) in Information Systems, and an MBA concentration in Information Systems. The undergraduate major allows students to specialize in one of two career tracks: the Business Analyst track or the Information Technologist track. Non-Information System majors can tailor their degree by adding a minor in Information Systems or Electronic Commerce to their undergraduate major.
