Customize your Suffolk MPA degree to your professional goals by selecting a Specialized Degree Option or Joint Degree with the Suffolk Law School or College of Arts and Sciences

The Specialized Degree Option can easily be completed in two years of full-time study or three to four years of part-time study. Each Specialized Degree Option ensures that you will have a complete understanding of public and health management principles through the nine MPA core courses. Your knowledge is deepened with required and elective courses within your area of specialization.

Options

MPA/Nonprofit Management

The MPA/Nonprofit Management specialized degree meets career interests for those in the field of nonprofit agency management. The curriculum covers the field of public administration with special attention given to the additional intricacies of nonprofit management.

MPA/State and Local Government

This program prepares state and local government managers and officials to function as effective leaders able to respond to the changing climates of government. For this concentration, you will focus on either state OR local government. You will select either the state government or the local government track.
