Now, more than ever, organizations look to tax professionals to not only anticipate changes, but also to manage their impact. New developments in tax law emerge daily and many affect directly the bottom-line success of a company.
In the MBA/MST joint degree, you will gain a breadth of expertise in business core competencies and managerial skills, plus an in-depth expertise in taxation.
This joint degree will prepare you for a high-level career in tax consulting and advising, more particularly in a corporate or trust context.
In the joint MBA/MST, some of the MBA electives must be designated Tax courses. In this way, you can earn this joint degree with just four to six additional courses beyond the standard 10 to 18 course MBA.
Degrees will be awarded when all degree requirements for both programs are fulfilled.
The MBA/MST can be completed full-time or part-time.
The MBA portion of the joint degree can be completed at our main Boston campus; at our North Campus location; and fully online. The accounting and taxation courses must be completed in Boston. Some may be completed online.
