The MHA Program is offered by the Healthcare Department. The MHA degree prepares healthcare leaders and managers to guide health care organizations, including hospitals, academic medical centers, integrated delivery systems, long-term care facilities, managed care providers, community health centers, and other health-related organizations. These may be non-profit, for-profit, or voluntary organizations. The MHA is a broad-based degree that prepares students for a wide range of professional opportunities in healthcare.          

The core and elective courses provide students with the opportunity to learn about many important aspects of healthcare administration. These include: the organization, financing and operations of healthcare delivery; healthcare policy; performance improvement and patient safety; leadership and ethics in healthcare organization; and strategic management.
