When asked what they were looking for in a potential employee or an employee to promote up the ranks, corporate recruiters and executives on a panel at a national conference indicated there’s much more to gaining a competitive edge in the work place than academics.
The Suffolk MBA EDGE program provides professional development workshops throughout the year, open to all MBA students, across all campuses and to MBA Online students. Executive Coaches and Corporate Consultants lead all sessions. MBA EDGE programs are held on the Boston campus, close to all major forms of public transportation. If you’re an MBA Online student within commuting distance, you might find some of these sessions an added benefit to your online experience.
“As someone who earned my undergraduate degree while working full-time, I was expecting my MBA experience to be similar – no contacts outside the classroom, no sense of being part of the school etc. I am extremely pleased with the EDGE program and the many opportunities it provides to network with alumni, faculty, and other MBAs who are working professionals.”

“The image seminar surpassed my expectations. Thank you for bringing the professional image consultant to Suffolk. It was obvious why she is used by top companies and executives across the country. Her ideas and advice were extremely valuable. I’ve already emailed her with specific questions and am pleased to report she answered immediately. What a great MBA EDGE event!”
