Before you enter the classroom you will:

• Complete an online self-assessment tool used by top-level firms from across the country 
  • It measures your business competencies, networking savvy, emotional intelligence, and influence power
• Read an annual report of a global company
• Complete a SPOT analysis of the company and of yourself as a professional (strengths, potential, opportunities, and threats)

• Role play senior executives determining the success of your company, facing critical operational and strategic decisions in a fast-paced business simulation
• Meet with corporate coaches in workshop settings about Career Strategy, Effective Business Writing, and Powerful Corporate Presentations
• Write a Career Development Plan to identify personal goals for your Suffolk MBA experience and beyond
       

Whether you have two or twenty years of work experience, Effective Career Planning taken as a first course in the Suffolk MBA, forces you to assess your professional skills and career path, and make a conscious plan to relate every aspect of your MBA to your career goals.
