Alumni Trustee

John McDonnell (BSBA ’83) is the Sawyer Business School’s Alumni Representative to Suffolk University’s Board of Trustees.

As the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Patrón Spirits [http://patronspirits.com/], John oversees the company’s daily operations, strategic media and advertising plans, and its product portfolio.

He shares his expertise with our students by giving guest lectures on brand marketing. He brings insights from his many years spent marketing liquor brands in Greater China, and highlights the creative techniques brands must use to signal their authenticity to consumers.

EPAC

The Executive Program Alumni Council (EPAC) represents alumni of the Executive MBA program.

The council plans career-related seminars, networking events, and mentorship opportunities for our 2,000+ EMBA alumni and students. It also helps recruit new EMBA students and sets up guest lectures with alumni.
