The IS Club promotes interaction among students and faculty who share a common interest in information systems and its related fields. The club welcomes members from all majors and professional backgrounds.

The Club hosts several events throughout the year.

For instance, club members recently had the chance to learn about career opportunities and to pitch their television show ideas to MTV executives. From interns to executives, MTV employs the top creative minds in all fields across many disciplines, including research, press, marketing, programming, and media creation.

The students have also brought together some of Boston’s newest early stage mobile startups for a pitch competition in front of mobile investors.

For another event, they invited recruiters from Bose to campus so they could share internship opportunities and full-time job openings in information technology.
