Driscoll is the owner of Driscoll & Co, a tax and management consulting business.

From 1973 to 2008, Driscoll held several positions at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). He served as an Internal Revenue Manager for more than 15 years, where he managed income, excise, and strike force groups. He also developed an annual training program for the New England District of the IRS.
