Non-Degree Options

Continuing and Professional Studies Program (CAPS)

If you’re pursuing a graduate MPA or MHA degree, you may be eligible to enroll in up to two graduate courses before formally applying, as part of our CAPS program. Courses must be selected with the advisor's consent and will be offered on a space available basis.

Apply online.

CPA Educational Requirements

If you only need 1 or 2 more courses to sit for the CPA exam in Massachusetts, you can apply for the Management Advancement Professional Studies (MAPS) CPA Educational Requirements option. You can take up to 2 classes of accounting, taxation, or business law courses at our Boston campus or online.

Eligible applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.0 and at least 1 year of work experience or a master's degree. You also need to undergo Pre-Evaluation Eligibility Determination notification from NASBA, outlining the classes you need to sit for the CPA exam

You may register as early as one month before classes begin, but students enrolled in degree programs are granted priority registration. Contact Caitlin DeStefano at cdestefano@suffolk.edu for advising.

Management Advancement Professional Studies (MAPS)

If you have at least one year of full-time work experience and a 2.8 or higher GPA, you may be eligible to enroll in up to two MBA core courses or two MSF prerequisite courses before formally applying, as part of our MAPS program.

Courses taken in MAPS will subsequently apply toward the Suffolk MBA, Global MBA, MSF, or MSFSB degree if, after formal application, you meet standard admission criteria.

MAPS is available in Boston, at our North Campus location, and online.

Apply online.
