Internships

Internships can be an integral part of your graduate experience and help you gain the professional experience needed to enter your preferred profession or prepare for a career change. Some programs allow internships to be completed for academic credit. All programs allow internships to be completed for non-credit. You should consult with your graduate program or faculty advisor on which option fits within your degree requirements.

If you are an international student you are strongly encouraged to have a conversation with the International Student Services Office to make sure you fully understand the parameters of your visa status and completing an internship. Learn more about Employment Authorizations (OPT vs. CPT).
