LRS Program

The Language Related Services Program offers free workshops, English 101 labs, and individual tutorials to any student enrolled at Suffolk University whose native language is not English. The purpose is to provide support for those second language students who may need to strengthen their skills in English, especially in grammar and writing, in order to improve their performance in coursework at Suffolk. Students may choose to use these services voluntarily, or they may be referred by their professors, the Ballotti Learning Center, an advisor, or the English department. Information about each of these services and the procedures for scheduling an appointment or making a referral.
