Commencement is a time to celebrate not only our students, but also the families and friends who helped them get to this special day. Here is some important information to facilitate the best Commencement experience possible for all families and friends.

Tickets and Invitations

Each graduating student will receive up to five (5) tickets for family and guests, along with invitations as mementos. Please understand that invitations are provided as commemorative items and cannot be used for entry. One ticket will be required for each guest age three and over for admission to the Bank of America Pavilion. Due to seating capacity, lost tickets cannot be replaced.

When guests should arrive for Commencement

Guests will enter the Bank of America Pavilion through the main entrance, which will open approximately an hour before each ceremony. Upon entering, guests will receive a Commencement program and be directed to the open seating area. To the right of the turnstiles, there will be a booth for those who may have questions or need special accommodations.

If you or someone in your party requires assistance during Commencement, please submit our guests with disabilities form and we will arrange for the necessary accommodations.

How to share in the excitement of Commencement day

We've made Commencement an interactive experience for guests in attendance and at home. During the ceremony, you can tweet congratulations to your student and share photos on Instagram by using #Suffolk13.
