About Recognition Day

Recognition Day is held each year in the last week of the spring semester to honor undergraduate students who have madeoutstanding scholastic achievements, and those who have been prolific in their contribution to co-curricular groups within the university. Awards are given by every department and in almost every academic program. Induction to scholastic societies are also recognized as part of this program.

About the Office of Student Activities and Service Learning

The staff members in the Office of Student Activities and Service Learning are committed appreciation of diversity and developing the leadership potential of Suffolk students. When individual students become more effective leaders, our student organizations, and the educational experience for all students, is enriched and strengthened.

By coordinating the efforts of student-run clubs and organizations, the Student Activities program enriches the social and cultural life of the University and helps prepare students for citizenship in a global community. Leadership development programming, new student orientation services, and most function space reservations are also coordinated through the Office of Student Activities and Service Learning.
