New first year and transfer students at Suffolk receive housing through a deposit process with Undergraduate Admissions. After that first year, a room selection process is used for students who want to live on campus.  

The room selection process allows current students in housing to participate in a lottery to attain housing for the following academic year. Specific eligibility information for housing for the 2016 - 2017 academic year will be sent via their Suffolk email to each residential student and their home during the first week of February.  

The process requires an overall deposit of $1,000 which is paid in two installments. The first installment of $500 is due prior to selecting a room, and the second installment is due after selecting a room but prior to the end of the semester. At the end of the spring semester, none of the $1,000 deposits are refundable if a student does not live on campus for the 2016 - 2017 academic year, regardless of reason. Both deposits must be paid online.

Students who are not eligible for the room selection process are encouraged to put their names on the housing waitlist. The waitlist for Fall 2016 will be available in April. There is no deposit or commitment for placing your name on the waitlist.
